1. About Moii

Moii is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that connects coffee farmers and roasters, facilitates transactions, and manages shipping. We provide tools to simplify coffee sourcing and logistics.

2. User Accounts

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or the legal age in your jurisdiction to create an account and use our Services.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

3. Use of Services

Permitted Use: Our platform is for professional use to connect coffee farmers and roasters. You agree not to use the Services for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

Prohibited Activities: You may not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform.
  • Post or transmit harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content.

4. Payment Terms

Transaction Fees: A service fee may apply to transactions facilitated through the platform. These fees will be disclosed at the time of the transaction.

Refunds: Refunds, if applicable, are governed by our Refund Policy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

6. Communications and Notifications

By providing your phone number to Moii, you consent to receive text messages from us or our messaging service provider (Twilio). These messages may include notifications about your account, transactions, shipping updates, and other relevant service information. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your preferences in your account settings.

You acknowledge that opting into SMS notifications is required for certain features of our service, including transaction alerts and shipping updates. If you choose to opt out, some service functionality may be limited.

7. Shipping and Logistics

Moii facilitates the shipment of coffee between farmers and roasters by coordinating with trusted logistics providers. While we aim to ensure smooth shipping and delivery, issues may arise.

  • Our Responsibility: If a shipment is delayed, damaged, or lost due to an issue within our control, Moii will work diligently to resolve the matter, which may include coordinating replacements or refunds, as applicable.
  • Limitations: Moii is not directly responsible for issues caused by third-party logistics providers, such as customs delays or carrier mishandling, but we will support you in addressing such issues.
  • User Responsibility: It is your responsibility to provide accurate shipping information and ensure someone is available to receive the shipment. Moii is not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details.

8. Intellectual Property

All proprietary content on the Moii platform, including logos, trademarks, software, and platform-specific materials, is owned by Moii Holdings or its licensors. This does not include information shared by sellers or other users on the platform, which may be used as part of the platform's normal functionality (e.g., connecting with sellers or evaluating product listings).

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use Moii's proprietary content or intellectual property without prior written permission.

9. Dispute Resolution

10. Termination

Moii reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding payment obligations.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to you, and your continued use of the Services indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
